This camera is in excellent condition, has been lightly used and works like it did when I first bought it in 2009.  Since then I’ve kept it as a back up to my D700 and then D7500, which is why the shutter count is just 5620.

The viewfinder displays 100% of the shot on the 3.0-inch LCD screen and a built-in, pop-up flash adds extra light in areas of poor lighting. The manual focus allows you to capture detail in every photograph and the autofocus is very useful when in fast moving situations. There are many extra features on the camera such as Burst mode, which shoots up to 100 shots at a time in full 12.3 MP resolution.

The Nikon D300 has a self-cleaning sensor unit and it features rubber seals throughout the weather resistant, magnesium alloy construction.

Since its release in 2008, the D300 remains an outstanding prosumer level DSLR.  As Ken Rockwell put it back then:

“The D300 had better colour, better highlights and better shadows than previous digital DSLRs. It is also sharper, because it fixes lens flaws, and its superior AF system and viewfinder enabled us to compose more freely than any previous camera.
