This lens is in good condition apart from the problem with the aperture (which cannot be darkened). The image quality is good and zoom range excellent making it a great first zoom lens for full-frame and APSC sensor cameras alike, this is the use it has served me but I'm not using it much any more because I just don't need a telephoto. The aperture problem has never bothered me and everything else in great too.
